Just tried the grilled chicken and spices chicken burrito tonight. It was amazing! Great balance of ingredients, stayed warm, lovely little side salad as well. Also the guy worker the counter was super nice and helpful with the menu. I highly recommend!
I have been here many times and have never been disappointed. They have a wide selection of choices, and everything I've ordered has been great. In my opinion, it's the best burrito spot in downtown Jersey City. If you are into sweets, try the tres leches cake!
I have only ordered delivery from Bubby’s. The food is delicious and I am obsessed with the Vampiro Juice The salsa verde is beautifully made. The tres leches is to die for. Today they forgot my tres leches in my Seamlwss order. I called to request it be sent over because I’m I love with it and they sent someone over shortly after. Wonderful people, wonderful food. Extremely tasty burritos, well stuffed and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and the vibe is very relaxed and casual. A great place for a fast, delicious, and filling meal.
Been coming here since I was in 3rd grade and I’m now a freshman in college. I haven't found a better Mexican place than this one and I will seriously cry if they ever shut down. Truly a jersey city staple! Try the Mexican enchiladas with mole sauce!!! Seriously the best and their smoothies are amazing!
Woah this place is actually great. It's been so long since I've found decent food but this is really delicious. The pricing is fair and everything it says you get, you get. I ordered soft tacos with steak, plenty of toppings and you taste all the flavors. For my partner they ordered Cajun chicken quesadilla and you get several sauces on the side. As well the mango, pineapple and banana smoothie and chocolate slice of cake. Everything was flavorful, warm and cooked perfectly. Ordered at 8:57 store closed at 9:45 and I received my order through Uber eats at 9:50 ish. So impressed! I was skeptic but very happy I ordered. Thank you for your work!

As a warm-up to my 16,000 step heroic Jersey City excursion, I decided to visit Bubby's once more to go beyond smoothies and try the burrito! It was everything I imagined and more! Ordered: Cajun Chicken Burrito & Classic Banana Orange Strawberry Smoothie! My Cajun Chicken Burrito (ordered minus chips) included yellow rice and black beans inside. The burrito itself was large and much tastier than Chipolte's with crisp grilled chicken and amazing yellow rice and black beans. It was seasoned to perfection. You can not go wrong with the classic smoothie. This smoothie powered me up beyond omega level superheros (be sure to check out included pics). I will revisit Bubby's again whenever I am in the Jersey City area. The atmosphere was quiet and cool. It appeared most orders were pickup as the venue itself is rather small, but I'd imagine they get a huge volume of pickup orders from residents and nearby Jersey City Medial Center. If you are waiting hours near JCM, I recommend using some of that time to visit Bubby's right down the road. Your body will appreciate the meal and the exercise. Stay fit, stay hungry, and enjoy life!
